Our office on 98 Court Street in Middlebury, Vermont Associates in Orthodontics is a family oriented practice providing the highest quality of orthodontics in a caring environment. We treat all ages, from early childhood to senior citizens. As a service to the community we provide free initial exams and have a free Pre-Orthodontic Guidance Recall Program. This allows parents to learn more about their children's orthodontic needs at a young age.
The American Association of Orthodontists recommends that a child be evaluated at age 7.   This is an excellent time to start monitoring a child's growth pattern and recognize early developmental problems.

Crooked, crowded teeth are difficult to clean and maintain.  Over time, this can lead to tooth decay, gum disease, and tooth loss. A bite that does not function well may cause abnormal wear of tooth surfaces, stress of gum tissue and supporting bone, and even misalignment of the jaw joints.  When left untreated, many orthodontic problems become worse.  They can lead to costly dental care in later years, which is often greater than the cost to correct the original malocclusion.

Office Hours: Our office is open for patients on Tuesday, Wednesday, every other Monday and one Thursday a month from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Appointments: Appreciating the busy schedules you have, we will attempt to inform you of the approximate length of each appointment as well as the procedure. Patients are generally seen every 4-6 weeks during treatment.  When braces are removed, the retainer checks are made less frequently.
Emergencies: Difficulties can be handled daily Monday through Wednesday by calling 388-2222 or our toll free number, 1-800-750-1000, Monday through Friday.  On weekends and evenings the doctors can be reached at home.
Fees and
Payment Plans:		 Fees are based on several factors. These will be discussed at the exam appointment. Several different payment plans are available to meet your needs.

Dr. Jeff Blasius
Dr. Angus and his wife are residents of Essex Junction.  He has a married daughter who lives with her husband and two sons in St. Albans and a daughter who lives in Burlington.  His son and his wife and their son reside in Essex Junction.  He  joined the practice in 1975. Dr.  Librizzi and his family live in Essex Junction.  One daughter is in medical school and her twin sister is a High School English teacher.  He has one son in college and two younger children in high school.  He has been in the practice for 22 years. Dr. Blasius lives with his wife and two young sons in Charlotte. He joined the practice in 2001.
